		<description><![CDATA[The app window is deceiving in Vista, but using file-explorer to inspect the results, indicated the program worked fine.<br><br>At first it seemed not to work because Vista Premium said it was not responding in the window’s title bar.<br>I had a 11G file that I wanted on DVD+R plastic. I was willing to span multiple plastic disks, but my Roxio writer software could not automatically split the file. <br>I decided ~40 files was enough precision to do the media division on file boundaries and so took the entire file size, divided by 40, using that number in the custom segment size block. 40 files were generated along with a 1K file that I suppose was a structure file. I copied the Adsen Splitter executable into the directory with the rest of the files to assure some hope of recovery at another place and time.<br>Roxio was now able to write the directory while spanning the media, ( an option in Roxio ) over three disks.<br><br>The progress bar had only made 50% and Vista was errantly reporting that the program was not responding.<br>Yet I expected 40 and got 40 files by simply looking at an file-explorer window in the directory containing the original 11G file.
