Passed my test with flying colors! Wanted to cut up a single DVD file of a very short home video I
had created. I wondered if the splits could be re-assembled and still valid, since DVD files are so critically structured. Your app re-joined them, in working condition.
Now I can send it to my daughter using YouSendit online, which limits you to 100mb for the free version. (I selected 99mb for max. filesizes)
She'll get it sooner than in the mail, and will have the full working menu I designed, to burn to DVD, or put on flash drive for use in
a media player.

The app window is deceiving in Vista, but using file-explorer to inspect the results, indicated the program worked fine.

At first it seemed not to work because Vista Premium said it was not responding in the window’s title bar.
I had a 11G file that I wanted on DVD+R plastic. I was willing to span multiple plastic disks, but my Roxio writer software could not automatically split the file.
I decided ~40 files was enough precision to do the media division on file boundaries and so took the entire file size, divided by 40, using that number in the custom segment size block. 40 files were generated along with a 1K file that I suppose was a structure file. I copied the Adsen Splitter executable into the directory with the rest of the files to assure some hope of recovery at another place and time.
Roxio was now able to write the directory while spanning the media, ( an option in Roxio ) over three disks.

The progress bar had only made 50% and Vista was errantly reporting that the program was not responding.
Yet I expected 40 and got 40 files by simply looking at an file-explorer window in the directory containing the original 11G file. ( The expected output location )

The application does not support the type of files I was wanted to split, specifically video MPEG files.

Its a fine working little program. No problems running it on a few files and the splitting was great. And fast.

Adsen splitter worked well!

I think that de Adsen splitter is a very small and easy to use splitter. After use quickly removable. The only thing I had liked to see is the possibility to enter the length of the clippings in MB's or GB's in stead of in KB's.Anyway, I had to clip a big AVI file, every tool I tried on it failed, and your tool did the job. Chapeau!

Didn`t work as expected

From the advertizing, I had hoped the splitter would allow me to re-assemble and avi file set that was must have been split with a different tool. It didn't so I uninstalled it.

Didn`t Work with a Very Larg File

I tried using Adsen File Splitter with a very large file of about 19GB. It didn't work. So I deinstalled the program.

Refused to load. Message from my computer was that it wasn't a win32 application.

Didn`t work for me

I didn't spend a lot of time trying to work it out, but the largest file it can split it to is 10mb which is smaller than I wanted. I wanted to split a 9GB avi file to 4(ish)GB files to fit on DVD discs. Plus you don't end up with .avi files.

Good software for really big files

Found this software quite easy to use for large files of the magnitude 3-4 GB. Doesn't take up all 3-4 GB RAM while working, unlike other file cutter softwares.
